Words of encouragement given in person by master Tao He to Jack Tu as he is entering the “Global Selecting Event for Jackie Chan’s Disciple” for the final sixteen contestants.

Jack Tu, who comes from United States of America, with his excellent martial art skill and his stellar performance during his competition,  won the first place among the final 36 contestants that are selected from a total of 128 participants.  Despite his magnificent achievement thus far, Jack continues to work hard in his Kung Fu training. On his eve of entering the competition for the final sixteen contestants, his sifu, master Tao He, came from USA to visit him at his training camp to give Jack his moral support and encouragement.  While being away and not seeing his sifu for so long in the competition, Jack was exceptionally happy to see his sifu at the camp.

Master Tao described Jack to the reporters, “Jack is always truthful to others. This may be due to how he is brought up, with a family that is open and caring. Jack has a warm and kind attitude towards the world. Having such kind of values is really exceptional.”  When speaking about Jack’s kungfu training when he was small, master Tao said Jack endured a lot of tough and hard trainings.  As this old Chinese saying goes,  “He who can taste the bitterness of the bitterest will  be the superior of the superiors,”  master Tao deeply believes that Jack will be selected as one of the final sixteen contestants. He said, “I hope Jack will continue to be strong and industrious, and boldly take himself to his final goal -- becoming a kungfu movie star.”

Having master Tao’s blessing, Jack said that he would definitely deliver his very best in the competition, and would not disappoint his sifu.
