INSTRUCTOR CHENGJUN YANG

Sifu Yang was born in 1988, Weishan, Shandong Province. When Yang was young, he learned Martial Arts from the Province’s famous Master Sun, Liu Yu. In 1998 Weishan Martial Arts competition, Yang won first place in Boxing, second place in Staff and first place in Boardsword.

In 1999, Yang was admitted to learn Martial Arts in Henan Shaolin Temple.  In 2003, Puitan Southern Shaolin invited Shaolin Monk Sai So Hei to a culture exchange conference.  Yang accompanied Sai So Hei and joined the Tour to perform in Singapore and Malaysia.  In April 2004, the Tour was invited once again in Malaysia.  In 2004, Yang joined Shaolin Tour to visit United States and performed in the Shaolin Temple Day Celebration. The Tour received warm welcome by the local people and government officials.   In 2007, the Tour went on to perform in Thailand.

2001  Yang  participated in the International Shaolin Wushu Festival.
2002  Yang participated in Deng Feng City, the hometown of martial arts competition –  he received first place in Sword, first place in Sparring, and first place in Tung Zhi Gong.
2003  Deng Feng City Level A Wushu competition,  first place Long Fist, second place Sword, first place Sparring
2003  Hu Nan providence Wushu competition, first place Shaolin Quan;  first place other quan,  fourth place Sword
2005  International Shaolin traditional Wushu competiton, first place Seven Star Fist, first place Staff
2006  Hu Nan Wushu competition, second place Shaolin Quan.

In 2006, Yang was employed as an instructor in the Shaolin Quan division. In 2007, Yang taught in Foshan, Wong Fei Hung Martial Arts school, In 2009, Yang accepted the invitation from Master He, Tao, U.S.A. Wu Chi Kung Fu Academy to teach Martial Arts..
In 2009 APTSJW Cup International Wushu and Dance Invitational, Yang was awarded first place in Shaolin Quan, first place in Spear.

In May 2010, Yang competed in the 18th Chinese Martial Arts Tournament, he was first place in Northern Wushu, second place in soft weapons, first place in other quan. In June, 2010 Yang served as a judge in the 2nd Tiger Claw’s Kung Fu 7th Shark City Nationals. In July 2010, Yang competed in USA International Wushu Championships. He achieved first level in Traditional Quan, Staff and Southern Fist.  He was also invited to perform in Master demonstration.

Yang is currently the lead Martial Arts coach in Wu Chi Kung Fu Academy. Yang’s professional skills include Wushu Duan Wei 6. He is an international ranked Wushu referee, international ranked coach. Because of Yang’s special skills and achievements, in 2010, International Wushu Sanshou Dao  Association awarded Yang  fifth degree black belt. Yang’s name is also listed in “The Title of World Renowned Martial Artists”

Sifu Yang joined the U.S.A. Wu Chi Kung Fu Academy in 2009.  During this period ,He also won IWSD 5th degree black belt title.
