Jacob has studied Martial arts since he was 12 years old. Jacob found his passion to be in the style of Xing Yi and has been training in it for two years at the USA Wu chi kung Fu Academy. Jacob has traveled to China and Chicago for Kung fu tournaments he has won four gold medals and one bronze.
In June 2007 in San Jose at the TCCAT he won Gold for Xing Yi Chan.
In August 2007 in Beijing at the 7th International Wushu Invitational Tournament he took Gold for Xing Yi Chan and Bronze for Long Weapon.
In November 2007 in Chicago at the U.S. Open International Wushu Kung Fu Championship, he won Gold for Xing Yi Chan and Gold in Long Weapon.
