Sifu Gao, Lei was born in 1986, Dengfeng city, Henan, China. Gao’s family lived at the foothill of a Mountain near Shaolin Temple where Goa began Martial Art training at a very young age. As a child, Gao was always enthusiastic about Kung Fu training. Through twenty years of persistent training under many renowned Masters, Gao learned Traditional Form, Quan, Short and Long Weapons, Soft Weapons, I Ching Qigong and Shaolin Hard Qigong. Gao’s specialties include the Shaolin Soft Weapons, Shaolin Sword, Traditional Quan and Chinese Sanda.
Since its inception in 2001, Gao has participated in numerous Chinese Martial Arts competitions and won countless medals. Most recently, Gao has been invited to many national festivals, lectures and competitions. The countries he travelled to include the United States, Canada, Korea, France, Belgium, Luxembourg and Switzerland. In the United States tour, Gao performed in hundreds performances in Las Vegas.
During the six months’ European tour, Gao performed in an arena that could hold thousands of spectators together with the world's top performers; there were hardly any empty seats. Moreover, Gao was interviewed by several television stations.
In the Canada show, Gao’s performance managed to spark the news, media and magazines. Because of his extraordinary skills, Gao was interviewed by the Chinese Canadian Ambassador.
In addition to performance on stage, Gao engaged in technique exchanges with some of the world’s top entertainers in Cirque du Soleil.
When Gao was just 20 years old, he became the assistant head coach in Mountain Shaolin Martial Arts school.
Sifu Gao currently works as a coach in Wu Chi Kung Fu Academy. He also won IWSD 5th degree black belt title.
