SANSHOU (CHINESE KICKBOXING)

San Shou (Chinese Kick Boxing) Class Description

San Shou is Chinese free fighting. The ultimate goal is to train and develop the complete martial artist so that he or she is skilled in long and short range fighting, striking, grappling, throwing and pressure point striking. Students learn to employ both external (physical) and internal power, and develop total control over their own mind and body.
Using methods to train amateur and professional fighters in China practioners will learn an integration of boxing, kicking and throwing.
By focusing on using the body, not size or strength, women as well as men can realistically employ this self defense system. It is suited not only for self defense but also those seeking sport and/or fitness.
Some benefits of practicing chinese kick boxing are improved coordination, endurance, flexibility, and increase in strength.
